ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION
Candidates seeking admission to the BPT Programme (4
1/2 years) should have completed 17 years of age, as on the
31st December of the year of admission.
Students with science background (Physics/ Chemistry/
Biology) at the 10+2/ equivalent level can only opt for a
career in Physiotherapy. The candidate should secure 50%
marks in each of these subjects as well as in English.
The candidate before admission to the course shall furnish
to the Principal of the Institution, Certificate of Medical
Fitness from an authorized government medical officer to
the effect that the candidate is physically fit to undergo the
course.
Selection shall be made only on the basis of norms
prescribed by the Government and the University from
time to time
AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION
Candidates should produce the following certificates at the
time of interview.
1. 10th and +2 / Degree Certificate.
2. Transfer Certificate from the institution last attended.
3. Conduct Certificate from the head of the institution
last attended.
4. Nativity and Community Certificate of the candidate.
5. Income Certificate of the parents.
6. Ten copies of recent passport size photos.
The parent or guardian should be present at the time of
interview and admission of their student.
Fees as prescribed by the Govenment will be collected
before each semester or year.
The fees once paid shall not be refunded under any
circumstances. Those who discontinue the course will
have to pay the full course fees.
Attendance Progress and Conduct Certificates (APC)
will not be forwarded to the university unless the student
shows satisfactory progress and conduct and clears all dues
to the college at that time.
