The Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) is a four and half year program with six months compulsory rotatory internship. The language of instruction is English for all the subjects of study and the examinations are also taken only in English The course is designed to give the students a scientific understanding of the human body based on medical sciences and to provide training in understanding the procedures for therapy and to develop skills The subjects taught in the course include Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, Pharmacology, Psychology, Medical and Surgical conditions, Biomechanics, Kinesiology, Disability prevention, Rehabilitation and other related subjects. Major thrust of the course work is on practical and clinical skill development with six months of compulsory rotatory internship where students work under the supervision of professionals at various hospitals and institutions recognized by the affiliated university.
